Rabbi Rabinowitz Shlita -
Rav Rabinowitz Rabbi Rabinowitz led our congregation in the years 5766-5771. In addition to his intense individual occupation in Torah and Jewish leadership, he invested greatly in our members and in the advancement of our community. The Rav developed an evening kollel and a long term growth plan for the kehilla. With wit and love the Rav transformed our kehilla to one of renown and instilled in us the love of Torah and Yirat Shamayim. It is a great challenge for us to preserve and further develop the tremendous groundwork that the Rav laid. Among the countless projects that the Rav initiated, he was the driving force behind the building project.
With great appreciation, Kehilat Tiferet Yaakov

Rabbi Markowitz Shlita -
Rabbi Markowitz carried our kehilla in its formative years 5752 - 5766. He enriched us with shiurim and impressed on our kehilla his pleasant character. The Rav served as Rabbi and loving father to the congreagants. He invested great efforts to advance the shul’s physical and spiritual facets. The Rav led the initiative to promote the kehilla and provide for its physical needs, personally obtaining Torahs and furniture for the synagogue. However, far more than his influence on our physical needs, the Rav’s spiritual influence and love for his flock strongly echo in the hearts of the congregants.
With great appreciation, Kehilat Tiferet Yaakov

Greater is the deed than its doer (Baba Batra 9a)
A note of appreciation for Rabbi Tsiyon Weitzman Zt”l -
Rabbi Weitzman was one of the yishuv’s founders and its first rabbi. The Rav led with a vision of unity and love, values with which he lived and invested great effort in instilling in the yishuv. Part of his vision was to provide for the whole community. He wanted that every Jew should be able to find their place and feel at home in our yishuv. His vision is the groundwork of the Ashkenazi kehilla, while the co-existence of the various yishuv kehilot under one roof is the actualization of his dream for unity and brotherhood. His vision continues to guide our yishuv as we aspire to continue in its implementation.
With great appreciation, Kehilat Tiferet Yaakov
